Brian Anthony is a curriculum designer with Cordoba House. Brian taught English in the United Arab Emirates and Syria for seven years, and then returned home to teach English and Gifted Program in rural Pennsylvania for another eight years. He has developed courses, learning units, lesson plans, and other materials for national and international organizations including the British Council, Learning One to One Foundation, and American Reading Company.
Brian earned a BA in Comparative Literature from Penn State, focusing on Ancient Greek, English, German, and Arabic languages and literatures. He later received a Master’s degree in English and teacher certification from Kutztown University, and a postgraduate certificate in Ancient Thought from Villanova University. Brian’s favorite things to do when he’s not writing curriculum or classroom teaching include cooking, hiking, reading philosophy, watching Penn State football, playing guitar, traveling, and writing. He lives with his wife, three kids, and a bearded dragon in eastern Pennsylvania.
