Vanessa Rahman has a combined BA in Fine Arts and Early Childhood Education from Boston College. She taught at a progressive preschool in Lexington, Massachusetts where she contributed to curriculum development and lesson-writing. In 2004, Vanessa founded a graphic arts studio, specializing in print design and production, which she managed until 2010. She has spent the last few years raising her daughters and freelancing. She serves as a volunteer for Cordoba House as a curriculum developer and teacher for ages 5 to 7 and lives in New York with her husband and two girls, Iman and Leila.
