Cordoba House Sunday School Curriculum
One of the unique qualities that distinguishes the Cordoba House Sunday School program is its well thought out, cutting edge curriculum that places a strong emphasis on a child’s personal spiritual development through Quran memorization and on the practical application of Islamic values in the modern day American context. The Sunday school program was enhanced by the hiring of a qualified scholars and teachers including Quran instructors, renowned curriculum writers and a music director to make them spiritually uplifting and to enhance the Quranic learning experience.
We also have robust Teenage Halaqa sessions where important issues are discussed along with field trips connected to topics and values within the curriculum. We are calling on teenagers aged between 14 – 17 to join our program. This program’s objective is to create a platform for teens to discuss their thoughts and share experiences with other teens and educators.
