On Sunday, September 25, 2016 scores of people came out to attend the 31st annual Muslim Day Parade in New York City. The street fair included spoken word and musical performances, Halal food and drinks, and other fun activities. According to a flyer, this year’s theme was “For God and Country,” and the parade featured members of of the NYPD Muslim Officers Society.
