Ramadan is about charity and performing good works, and one group of Muslims from the St. Louis area is doing just that by serving food to the less fortunate at a local homeless shelter. According to one of the participants, the work was rewarding, especially during Ramadan: “During Ramadan, your good deeds are multiplied up to like 70,000. So, like, you do one good deed it’s multiplied. So you want to do even more… During that time, you’re more spiritual. Even those who, let’s say, don’t practice their religion throughout the whole year.”
