Aneelah Afzali, a hijab-wearing Muslim woman with a Harvard law degree, and Rev. Terry Kyllo, a white Lutheran pastor have come together to preach in churches across Washington state, in both large urban centers and small rural towns. Their objective? To fight Islamophobia and break down persistent and harmful stereotypes about Muslims.
