A Jewish philanthropist couple from New York is backing a Christian medical mission to Africa that is supported by people from a wide variety of faiths. Last week, a group of priests, rabbis, imams, and ministers joined together to support this effort. Responding to this project, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf remarked that such an initiative proves that there is more good than bad in the world, saying, “If the news depicted and reported on the amount of good things going on in the world… it would vastly outnumber the news that is discordant.”
