Muslims in Memphis, Tennessee celebrated Islamic culture with the third annual MusliMEMfest. The festival featured food, Islamic art, an exhibit about Islamic history in America, a bazaar with vendors, performances, and speakers, as well as a silent auction to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. One of the main goals of the festival was to reach out to the local interfaith community to build bridges and strengthen bonds within their shared community.
