Students from Calgary Islamic School's Omar Bin Al-Khattab campus are uniting with Trickster Theatre, a local theater company, to tackle such crucial topics as Islamophobia, identity, stereotypes, and the history of Muslims in Canada. The partnership is a first for both the school and the theater company, but the results are a series of important performances that challenge pre-conceptions about Muslims and also helped the students develop new skills.
