Muslim, Jewish, and Christian teens were brought together this month by an interfaith basketball tournament. The students—from Crossroads Church, The Islamic Center of Cincinnati, and the Jewish Community Relations Council—started off the tournament playing with students of the same faith and them competed with teams of different faiths. Muslims communities across the United States are reaching out to their interfaith neighbors by hosting festivals and other fun, educational events, including the Muslims of the greater Toledo, Ohio area, who hosted an international festival! The event featured a tour of the community's mosque, food from more than a dozen countries, a petting zoo, and many opportunities to learn about Islam and Muslim cultures.
